Suffice to say, it is awesome, or it better be, because I worked 70 hours a week for the last two weeks doing it. Anyhoo, back to the neglected business of blogging. So, I have read a few books, and tried to pay attention to the news in my complete emersion in the arcana of Javascript, JSON and our crazy ass new photo backend.

The first thing I would like to direct our loyal reader(s) to is the site “World Net Daily“. If you aren’t reading it already, you should be. It is a repository of bat-shit crazy wingnuttery that is so completely off the deep end its approaching the Weekly World News. The best feature is that it tries to cram all the weird wingnut stuff in. New World Order, the Invasion of the Brown Hordes, Taxes are Too High, Liberals are Babykillers.

Possibly the most amusing part of WorldNetDaily is the stable of high-end advertisers they manage to get:

Based on these ads, I can tell that the readership is evidently interested in losing weight, getting rich and/or retiring with a six figure income and killing p/eople with their bare hands. The ad above links to a site with the (mercifully short) title “Only Because Of A Military Legal Loophole Can I Reveal The Terrifying ‘Decide-Dominate-And-Destroy’
Shocking Martial Arts Secret Banned By Congress That Can Transform ANY MAN (Or Woman) Into A Walking, Breathing Weapon Of Mass Destruction.” This is offered, free of charge, by a mysterious “Lieutenant X”. For free you get the “Elite” package, a $984 value. Which seems really precise, until you read that it includes 3 DVDs, a CD-Rom and an 84 page manual. One assumes that each page of this manual is worth a dollar.

Anyway, its completely amusing.
