Marcotte-gate
You know, I am really sick of this crap. How is it the the wankosphere can actually continue to pull this off? They got the “Madrassa Story” into the media and now they have turned Amanda Marcotte into a “liability” in Newsweek. What bums me out is that Pandagon is my favorite blog and I love reading Amanda’s posts…I guess I hope this ends up well in the end. But why, why is it that the right wing machine can still spin the media so effectively?

well, to be fair to Fox, his middle name is Hussein and his father is East African. It’s hard not to jump to outrageous conclusions given the evil that his name and ethnicity suggest he’s capable of.

FOX DIDN’T “JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.” THEY FABRICATED A STORY, FIGURING IT WOULD FOOL GOOBERS LIKE YOU, AND THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY CORRECT!
Half the Muslim males in the world probably have “Hussein” in their names. And even if they didn’t, what kind of idiot would make the leap from some one’s middle name to deducing their whole philosophy and life story (obviously, a fan of Fox News type of idiot)?

Yeah, sorry about that. “Hoist on my own petard,” and all that. Just wrote a note to some one on another blog pointing out the (intended) irony in a statement of mine which was taken literally.
